Industrial Reflections preserves the past by re-purposing for the present. We specialize in selling old foundry patterns (molds), blueprints, factory lights, and other industrial items that are appreciated for their beauty and craftsmanship of a bygone era. They are appreciated as stand-alone items or turned into mirrors, tables, lighting, and other functional items. Our office and warehouse is housed in an early 20th century former machine shop located just outside of Philadelphia in Conshohocken, PA.
Dating as far back as the late 1800's, our varied inventory represents American industrial craftsmanship at its very best. Many of our items were destined to be destroyed or sent to a landfill. Instead, they have now been re-purposed for various decorative uses. All of our items are handcrafted and unique in their design and artistry. In many cases, the original date they were constructed still appears.
For years, pattern makers carved these fluid patterns out of soft (pine) and hard (mahogany, maple, and others) woods to make an endless variety of custom-made gears, fittings, valves, and many other parts. These became components of the machines that helped build our country and make it thrive.
Our items look great on a mantle, wall, coffee table, corporate lobby, or conference room. All of our items stand as a lasting historical testament to our rich industrial past.
We look forward to hearing from you!
